Please unzip VERITE.ZIP into your Descent II directory. 

This will place the new 3D accelerated executable in your directory
along with replacing your old readme.txt file with an updated version.

Before using this 3D accelerated version of Descent II you must verify
that you are running an updated 1.1 or 1.2 version of Descent II.

To verify which version you are currently using, start Descent II.  The
version number appears on the bottom right corner of your screen at
the Descent II main menu.  If there is no version number, then you are 
currently running version 1.0.

If you are NOT running an updated version you will NOT be able to play the
3D accelerated version until you download one of the latest v1.2 patches
available at:

                http://www.interplay.com

After a successful update, run D2VT to Launch Descent II Rendition.

The Rendition version of Descent II does not support VR Devices.
